wiki: In 1979 Riga-16 was released. It looked like the Riga-12 the engine is now a S-58 and pedals are no longer used. The exhaust system has also changed, it was much longer. The seat is longer, more comfortable. The rear lamps have been changed to larger hexagonal-shaped. It also came in metallic paint.
